Montserrat Ignatian Pilgrimage (Northern Spain & Rome):
July 20 - August 1, 2026
Deepen your faith through engaging in Jesuit/Ignatian spirituality by following in the footsteps of St. Ignatius’s own faith journey. This pilgrimage will feature the sacred sites of St. Ignatius and the Society of Jesus (the Jesuits). We will begin at St. Ignatius's home, where his own life began, and travel through the impactful places and spaces for St. Ignatius ending in Rome where St. Ignatius lived and is buried.

Montserrat Interfaith Pilgrimage (Jordan):
July 20 - July 31, 2026
Campus Ministry's Interfaith Pilgrimage to Jordan invites students into a transformative journey of learning, dialogue, and spiritual reflection. Based mainly in Amman, students will explore Judaism, Christianity, and Islam through firsthand encounters with sacred sites, conversations with religious leaders and scholars, and shared meals with locals. The experience emphasizes learning with one another across faith traditions and worldviews as students visit places such as the Citadel, King Abdullah I Mosque, Mount Nebo, Jesus's Baptismal site, and other historic and religious sites that encourage reflection, relationship, and deeper understanding across traditions.

Montserrat Pilgrimages is named for Our Lady of Montserrat because of her importance to the life of St. Ignatius. He stood before the Blessed Mother, the Black Madonna, Our Lady of Montserrat and here he surrendered his sword and picked up a pilgrim staff. This moment signifies one of choice in the spiritual life. Giving up the symbol of his old life, laying it at the foot of our Lady, was a choice he made. And from there, a new life took root. Montserrat Pilgrimages are an invitation and a choice to deepen and explore your own faith and spirituality through global travel.
