The Feed Our Neighbor program in Campus Ministry seeks brings together students and the greater LMU community to serve our brothers and sisters while engaging in dialogue with a concrete social justice issue: hunger and food security. By engaging in service, we can deepen our understanding and commitment to our mission of the service of faith and the promotion of justice.
Every Thursday we will gather in the Cave (the basement level of Sacred Heart Chapel) at 11:00am to prepare 60-80 sack lunches. Then at 12:00pm we will drive to Safe Places for Youth (SPY) in Venice to serve the lunches to unhoused transitional youth at the SPY Access Center.
