The Center for Ignatian Spirituality invites faculty and staff to consider making the exercise, Meeting Christ in Prayer this Spring 2024—a favorite program for prayer and weekly spiritual conversation with fellow peers.
Meeting Christ in Prayer is an 8-week daily meditation and contemplation program by Fr. John Sassani and Mary Ann McLaughlin, based upon the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius of Loyola. LMU Faculty and staff commit to 25-30 minutes daily to do the assigned scripture meditation and write in their journals their reflections about the experience of prayer; participants meet weekly in small groups for spiritual conversation.
