Our Priorities
Engaging Students at a Critical Time in Their Lives – We strive to engage and support all Jewish students who are away from home for the first time in their lives. Knowing that more than one of two students comes from an interfaith household, we also support the many unaffiliated students along their Jewish journeys through an exploration of their passions and interests as Jews and as young adults.
Supporting a Life of Jewish Meaning – We create a safe space for students to explore their Jewish identities, embark in Jewish learning experiences, and celebrate our Jewish heritage. Together, staff and students organize holiday celebrations, festivals and opportunities for Jewish learning and exploration.
Building Jewish Leaders of Tomorrow – We foster the next generation of Jewish leaders by providing our LMU students with leadership training, faculty mentoring and by connecting students to each other and to the broader LMU network.
Repairing the World – We inspire and provide students with opportunities to demonstrate a commitment to social justice, volunteerism and community service through ongoing and special events that serve communities near and far.
