SPIRIT MOVES! The Life and Work of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Orange (Performance) - View Live Presentation - View Original Recording

A theatre piece weaving together the stories of ten Sisters of St. Joseph of Orange from their first calls to serve “the dear neighbor” through moments of joy, despair, and discovery as they follow the Spirit in dedication to service, social justice, and community - “that all may be one.”

The stories have been selected from an oral history project co-sponsored by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Orange and the CSJ Center for Reconciliation and Justice at Loyola Marymount University directed by Judith Royer, CSJ. Interviews with the Sisters were written into first person narratives by playwrights Doris Baizley, Linda  Bannister, Jami Brandli, Molly Cookson, Catharine Dada, Mary O’Malley, and Adriana Sevahn Nichols; edited for this presentation by Doris Baizley.
