Graceful Places
There are some places on and adjacent to the campus which the LMU community members have identified as especially helpful for obtaining some peace of mind and heart. The links below are followed by descriptions of each of the Graceful Places.
SHC Stained Glass Windows
While the Chapel itself is for many a quiet place of personal restfulness when it is not being used for some event, this website features high-definition images of the 12th Century style of the windows, together with descriptions of the symbols and brief stories of each of the persons depicted in the windows.
Discovery Park
A visit to the park, which is located directly below LMU in Playa Vista, is highly recommended. This website is not only informative about the place but is itself a reminder of how we can find beauty anywhere on and near the campus when we take a moment to look, especially when we do so intentionally as a brief pause from busy occupations.
