Fr. Tri Dinh, S.J.
Fr. Tri Dinh, SJ was born in Vietnam, immigrated to the US as a refugee in 1975, studied Biochemistry at Rice University, entered the Jesuits in 1989 and was ordained in 2000.
His first priestly assignment involved serving at Loyola Marymount University in Campus Ministry from 2000-2006 that greatly formed him as a priest. He has also taught at Jesuit High School in Sacramento (1993-1995), served street kids and disadvantaged families in the Philippines, parishioners in multicultural settings, and Christian Life Community members in the US, Canada, and Europe.
Fr. Tri currently serves as Director of Christus Ministries which seeks to bridge young adults and the Church. He travels to consult parishes, conduct retreats, conferences, and workshops on Ignatian spirituality, leadership, and community formation. His loves include volleyball, hiking, backpacking, movies, and connecting people (especially young adults and young families) with God.
