Fr. John Guyol, S.J.

Fr. John W. Guyol, SJ, was born and raised in St. Louis Missouri. After completing his undergraduate degree in Theology at Villanova University, Fr. Guyol joined Jesuit Volunteer Corps Northwest. During his volunteer year in Hays, MT on the Ft. Belknap Reservation, Fr. Guyol met Jesuits for the first time and was inspired to follow his vocation to enter the Society of Jesus.  

As a Jesuit, Fr. Guyol has studied philosophy and music in St. Louis, was a teacher and coach at Jesuit High School in Portland, OR, and worked for Jesuit Refugee Services in Cameroon. After ordination in 2021, Fr. Guyol spent a year in Western Montana as a parish priest, where he served the faith communities of St. Francis Xavier Parish, St. Ignatius Mission, and Sacred Heart Mission.  

He is currently pursuing an MBA in Sustainable Solutions through Presidio Graduate School.
