Founder of the Society of Jesus –the Jesuits. Ignatian Spirituality. Daily Examen. Spiritual Exercises. A cannonball moment. Loyola Marymount University (amongst hundreds of institutions, globally). Finding God in All Things. AMDG. A saint. The list goes on and on.
Have you ever thought, “How can one man’s story impact your life and relationship with God so profoundly today?” Not to mention, he lived 450 years ago in the remote Basque village in northern Spain, Azpeitia.
The Ignatian Pilgrimages at LMU invite undergraduate students, accompanied by staff and faculty, to physically and spiritually walk the footsteps of Saint Ignatius of Loyola. Embarking on these pilgrimages throughout Spain and Rome, Italy, these pilgrims visit sacred places along Ignatius’ journey and the life of the Church – all while in pursuit to reflect more fully on their own purpose and mission in life.
For more information, please contact Jake Blicharz, Campus Minister for Student Leadership Formation.
**Due to the COVID-19 pandemic our Ignatian pilgrimages have been postponed until June 2021. More information to come soon.
