  • 5:30 p.m.: The College of Communication and Fine Arts presented a program, inspired by Dana Gioia's outreach to the military and their families while he served as chair of the National Endowment for the Arts. Foley Hall Plaza.

  • 7:15 p.m.: The School of Film and Television screened Michael Curtiz's Angels with Dirty Faces (1938) followed by an interactive discussion of the imaginative vision and spiritual impact of the film, led by a faculty member. Mayer Theatre.
